The 'Basic Working Methods' course is one module that makes up the wider learning path for the 'Tekla Structural Designer Fundamentals' elearning course. This course comprises of several lessons, each of an interactive nature and including a variety of learning activities and quizzes.

A Mouse Control and Basic Shortcuts lesson teaches you how to pan, zoom, and rotate the view using the mouse and the ViewCube, as well as the context menu options and related keyboard shortcuts to take your proficiency to the next level!
Many commands require entities to be selected, so there is a lesson on Selection Techniques to teach you how to select entities in the active Scene view or using the Project Workspace.
There is a lesson on Basic working methods, which teaches you about the context menu, opening and closing Scene views, creating Tab groups, and switching the active Scene view to a different view Regime.
The final lesson covers Customizing the User Interface. You will learn to hide windows you do not require, dock or auto-hide visible windows, and resize and move them into different positions.
This course is expected to have taken the learner 2 hours to complete, with the requirement to successfully pass a test at the end of this course in order to attain their digital credential.
