The Tekla Structures Foundation Training module is a key component of the comprehensive training bundles offered by Trimble Solutions Middle East office. These bundles are tailored to meet the specific needs of various user groups, including new users, steel detailers, concrete contractors, bridge designers, and structural engineers. With the flexibility to learn at your own pace, this eLearning course provides an introduction to the Tekla BIM environment for new users, regardless of their segment.
The course consists of 13 chapters, and it would take around 3 hours for participant to complete. Upon finishing the eLearning tutorials, learners will be required to take a test that consists of 20 questions, to assess their skills to receive a course certificate.
The course takes the learners on a journey through the software's basics and functionalities. Starting with an overview of Tekla Structures and its user interface, learners will discover selection and snapping options, along with selection filters, to help them work effectively on their projects. The training also provides practical exercises on how to work with grids, build models, and understand the importance of work planes, clip planes, and work areas.
Also, learners will be guided through view and representation settings, object rendering, and visibilities, as well as learning how to inquire about model objects. The training will conclude with additional modeling techniques, such as base points, handling reference models, and custom components, and learners will become familiar with the information in their models.
